In order to make this happen, we need the funds to obtain technology, resources, and enthusiastic educators to help in our mission. Funds raised will directly impact the social, emotional, and intellectual development of underserved residents of the Strawberry Mansion community.
Funds collected by Down North Treehouse will contribute to the efforts to restore a library that has been generously donated by the City of Philadelphia. This space will be transformed into a safe haven for learning.
Down North Treehouse exists as a nonprofit entity. The principal focus is to connect underprivileged individuals to STEM education, opportunities, and resources to advance their knowledge and daily life skills to promote financial independence. Down North Treehouse will achieve its mission by maintaining total focus on the positive impact it must make in its community.
We will evolve with the latest trends and maintain competence in their knowledge around STEM, career readiness, and educational programming best practices.
Down North Treehouse will foster a direct and indirect marketing core, emphasizing organization-to-organization marketing. This approach permits rapid growth by tapping into the current needs of community organizations that interact with the target market Down North Foundation Tree House intends to serve. An emphasis will also be placed on marketing through social media to reach potential participants.
